Classroom Factors
- Technology was used frequently by teachers to communicate home to parents and to keep students informed on what is upcoming on the academic calendar.
- SmartBoards are frequently seen in not only the upper grade classrooms but also the lower grade levels.
- School has a mobile Agriculture Lab that they keep open and accessible to all classes throughout the day.
- First grade transitions on a five day schedule, each day switching between either Art,Music, Library or twice a week Gym.

- There is a visual disciplinary tool of a stop light at each student's desk where green, yellow, and red lights represent different levels of behavior in the classroom. Teacher will walk around classroom and when child misbehaves, teacher will change color silently. Green-good behavior, yellow-warning, red-disciplinary action required

- About 85% of the students in this class have the prerequisite knowledge for this unit in math, while about 15% of the students do not.

- Five students are diagnosed with learning disabilities in Mathematics and Emotional & Behavioral Disorders. These five students all have active IEPs.
